Hi Trisha! It can work, but it won’t have the slightly aerated, fluffy lift that creaming butter gives. You won’t need to do the creamy step, just mix with your wet ingredients.

Definitely my favorite recipe! So easy to follow Natasha’s directions – love the video directions ~so moist with such great balance of apple and cinnamon ~It’s a winner in my house! I’ll be making them again real soon .
